About Us

John Warren has undergone extensive training in Ireland and the USA in areas such Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Board Management, Fundraising, Risk Management, Operations and Financial Planning.

John was CEO of Educate Through Sport Foundation (2005-2015) which traded as The First Tee of Ireland being a national charitable organisation (with an international affiliation) working with young people in many counties around Ireland. In his time with The First Tee, then a division of the World Golf Foundation, John achieved Master Executive Status in non-profit management, qualified as a The First Tee Coach and received a much coveted Chairman's Award.

 John graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a BA in Community Education & Development and subsequently completed a course on Trusteeship, Governance and Regulation with the Law Society of Ireland. Most recently, amongst others, he has completed a Certificate in Training and Continuing Education with NUI Maynooth (following from successfully completing QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer, EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation Course with the International Board for IT Governance Qualifications, and a Certificate in Public Sector Corporate Governance with the Institute of Commercial Management.

John also fulfilled the role of Interim CEO for Trustus Senior Care, based in Tallaght, Dublin for over a year and a half, which provided additional and valuable senior management experience in a community setting.
